Perry senior Caleb Frable has made his mark both on the football field and the baseball diamond, representing the Maroons with pride, discipline, and faith. A multi-sport athlete, Caleb contributes in key roles for Perry, playing linebacker, defensive line, and tight end in football, while filling in wherever needed for the baseball team.
For Caleb, athletics are more than just competition; they are a calling. His motivation and inspiration come directly from his relationship with God. “I strive to get better and play for His glory,” Caleb shared. “He has blessed me with the ability to play, so I try my hardest for Him.” That mindset is reflected in his effort and consistency, whether it’s the grind of practice or the intensity of Friday nights under the lights.
Over the years, Caleb has learned that success doesn’t happen overnight. It takes patience, focus, and attention to detail. From walkthroughs to polish days, his dedication to preparation has been the foundation of his growth. One of his favorite memories came during last season’s Millwood game, a battle that helped Perry secure a playoff spot.
Rivalries also fuel his passion. Caleb especially enjoys keeping Perry’s winning streak alive against Blackwell, a tradition dating back to 2008. On the field, he loves competing against Logan Cook, who constantly challenges him to elevate his game. Among teammates, he admires Dustin Nix for his effort and attitude, always giving 100% no matter the circumstances.
Beyond sports, Caleb is deeply involved at Perry Public Schools. He participates in FFA, NHS, Student Council, Leadership, and his church’s youth group, where he is impacted by Bryce Crawford’s uplifting messages of faith. He also credits Agriculture teacher Mr. Milligan for guiding him with valuable life advice that has shaped him both on and off the field.
When asked what it means to be a Perry Maroon, Caleb’s pride shines through: “It means everything to me that I am able to say that I am a Perry Maroon.”
