9 Questions with Perry’s Jaxon Miner – Football Spotlight – Presented by Stillwater Medical-Perry

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Jaxon: I am a freshman at Perry HIgh School. I play football and baseball and I also wrestle.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade

Jaxon: Coach Hayes because he knew how athletic I was and told me I could go far in life as long I push myself.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you

Jaxon: Aiden Ferrell because he wants me to be the best on and off the field.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Jaxon: Just push yourself, even if you’re tired. It’s just a mindset.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Jaxon: I would go to Hawaii and take my family and friends.

VYPE: Who inspires you

Jaxon: My older brother, Hunter and my Dad because they push me to the best I can be.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Jaxon: Probably a good burger and a side of Mac and cheese or my Dad’s chicken fried rice.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Jaxon: I’m proud of showing my coaches that even though I hadn’t played that position and didn’t really know the plays, I could still step up and play there when they needed me to.
