YALE BULLDOGS
Coach: RICHARD BAKER
11-1

Offense
With an experienced senior class and rising player numbers, the Yale Bulldogs are poised for another standout season under veteran head coach Richard Baker. With six returning starters on both sides of the ball, expectations are high as the Bulldogs aim to build on last year’s success and make a deep postseason run. Yale’s offense is loaded with explosive playmakers and proven leadership. Leading the charge is senior running back Braiden Hodgett (5-9, 190, Sr.), the Stillwater NewsPress Area Player of the Year. Despite sharing carries in a five-back rotation last season, Hodgett racked up an eye-popping 1,884 yards and 32 touchdowns on just 142 carries. His mix of vision, speed, and toughness makes him a threat to score on any touch. At quarterback, Kaden Teter (5-11, 165, Jr.) returns to orchestrate the offense with poise and efficiency. Teter threw for 1,802 yards and 29 touchdowns last season, showing an ability to manage the game and deliver in key moments. His chemistry with senior wide receiver Tanner Moore (5-8, 155, Sr.) adds a dynamic element to the passing game. Moore hauled in 31 catches for 744 yards and 16 touchdowns, proving to be one of the most dangerous deep threats in Class A. The offensive unit benefits from continuity and chemistry, which should only elevate their production as the season progresses. Young talents like Austin Alford add depth and energy to the group and could emerge as key contributors.
Defense
The Bulldog defense brings back a core group of hard-nosed, intelligent players who know how to get stops. Linebacker Ben Whitsett (5-7, 155, Sr.) is the heart and soul of the unit. A team captain in both football and baseball, Whitsett enters the season with 289 career tackles, nine sacks, and two interceptions. He sets the tone with his leadership and work ethic. Up front, defensive tackle Lucas Reece (6-2, 220, Sr.) is a disruptive force, tallying 28 career sacks and 104 solo tackles. His twin brother, outside linebacker Ryan Reece (5-11, 170, Jr.), adds athleticism on the edge and complements the front seven well. In the secondary, Moore is a ballhawk, coming off a season with 12 interceptions and 39 tackles. With this veteran group, Yale’s defense will continue to be a problem for opposing offenses.
