VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Alexi: I am a sophomore at Perry High School and I wrestle.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Alexi: My favorite teacher is my computer teacher. She’s always so nice and has positive things to say all the time.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Alexi: My wrestling partner. She always pushes me to do my best and is always keeping me accountable.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Alexi: Wrestling has taught me to have self discipline, self confidence, and to be resilient.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Alexi: Qualifying for state last year.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Alexi: Everyone gathering by Simple Simons as we leave to go to the state tournament makes me love representing my school.
VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?
Alexi: I look up to David Carr. After every match he always thanks our Lord and Savior and is just so nice to everyone. His work ethic and his dedication inspires me to give it my all.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Alexi: Ten traditional mild wings with salt and vinegar fries with a Coke from Buffalo Wild Wings.
