PERRY MAROONS
BOYS
Coach: Sam Davison
23-24 Record: 7-19
The Maroons enter this season with a lot of new faces and will be looking to improve off of last season. Head coach Sam Davison says that this year’s team will be completely new but they will look to improve as the season progresses. “Our team is very sophomore heavy,” Davison stated. “We do not have one player this year who played any significant minutes for the varsity squad last year.” Tajon Williams (5-10, Sr.) will be the only senior on the team and he will be called on to help lead the team on the court this season. He is a hard worker that looks to have a big season. Derek Trotter (6-0, So.), Hollis Garfield (6-0, So.), Heston Witter (5-9, So.), and Elliot Milligan (5-9, So.) should see time and make an impact this year for the Maroons. A post player that will work to be a matchup problem down low, Zane Wolfe (6-4, So.) has worked hard in the offseason to get stronger and improve his game. Other players to keep an eye out for this season are Jaxon Boone (6-0, So.), Jaden Gibson (5-8, Fr.), Max Carris (5-8, Fr.), and Kian Thompson (5-10, Fr.).
