Chandler’s Lizzy Kilewer – Presented by Stillwater Milling Co

Chandler High School sophomore, Lizzy Kilewer is a member of the varsity cheer squad and the FFA chapter at school. Kilewer was influenced by a family member who spent time in FFA when they were in school.

“I joined FFA my 8th grade year, and I was in 4-H many years prior to that,” Kilewer said. “My dad encouraged me to be involved in 4-H and FFA because it builds character, promotes responsibility, and has good life lessons.”

Like many of her peers, Kilewer said she is involved in many activities with the FFA program. From showing livestock to being involved in the community, Kilewer has found several activities she enjoys in FFA.

“What I enjoy most about being in FFA is building friendships and learning about different aspects of Ag. I help with events in the community that involves ag and local and county livestock shows. I show my swine at Jackpots, local/county, and OYE division,” said Kilewer.

Kilewer said she’s inspired by her teammates on the cheer squad.

“My seniors inspire me as a cheerleader because they are always showing me new ways to do things that help me. My dad inspires me out of school because he always pushes me to be the best I can be in everything. What I love most about my teammates is that we all get along and we can joke around and have a lot of fun together throughout the cheer season,” said Kilewer.

Also a wrestling team manager, Kilewer said she plans to attend college to become a registered nurse, but for now, she enjoys dressing up for all the themes on Friday night and cheering on the sidelines for her classmates.
