David is proud to represent his school and his community every time he plays. David elaborated, “It means everything to me be able to put on for my town. My favorite part is the little kids that recognize me when I am off the field.”

As far as a role model, David looks toward family as the source. “My biggest role model is my dad. He is not only my best friend, but he is always there for me.”

Many memories are made in high school athletics, and often there is one particular memory that stands out. David explained, “My favorite memory in high school sports so far happened when I received my first offer from Oklahoma State University.”

David has a drive and ambition as to what motivates him. As for what fuels this, David stated, “I want to be the first person in my family to do something on professional level.”

To have achieved the level of success in sports, David attested, “It has taken countless hours working hard just by myself. Some of my best nights came from those nights of hard work.”

Regarding his football team, David knows that it takes everyone to win. He stated, “As players, we do not do enough to thank our linemen for the work they do for us.”

David plans to pursue both sports and education after graduating from high school. David stated, “I plan to go on, continuing to play football in college and play in the NFL after college.”
