FOOTBALL

TJ Wilson – Bristow

TJ is a sophomore who started in multiple games as a quarterback last year. He is very smart and has a lot of upside. TJ is an extremely hard worker and has room to put on a lot of muscle. He is expected to be one of Bristow’s most explosive receiving threats and a big part of the offense this year.

Darius Wade – Chandler

Darius is a sophomore who could very easily be a lot of teams starting running back. He will be playing fullback along with splitting out at receiver. He has electric speed and agility, and will be dangerous anywhere he goes. 

Dawson Kelsey – Cleveland

Dawson is a sophomore that is expected to play a large role in what the Tigers do offensively and defensively.  

Mateo Wren – Depew

Mateo looks to start at quarterback this year. He is a very gifted athlete who can be a dynamic runner as well as an accurate passer.  

Chase Creekmore – Drumright

He is a young player with a big upside. He is strong and physical, works hard, and wants to be great. He looks to be a big part of the Drumright program for the next few years.

Asher Thornbrue – Kellyville

Asher is Kellyville’s starting quarterback. He started as a freshman and had to grow up quickly. He looks to have a solid season leading the offense. 

Cooper Dodd – Mannford

Dodd is a sophomore that is really developing in the weight room. Going to be at tight end and linebacker for the 2024 season. Expecting to have a great season. 

Nathan Goodman – Pawnee

He is a natural at finding the football as a linebacker. Goodman is also a big hitter and tackler.

Braydyn Turpin – Perkins-Tryon

Braydyn is one of the stronger athletes on the team. He is expected to have a breakout season on the offensive line.

Asher Robinson – Perry

He is a good kid that contributed a lot as a freshman last season. He had 29 carries for 126 yards and a touchdown. He also registered three receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. On the defensive side, he ended with 10 tackles. He looks to have a bigger impact on both sides of the ball this season. 

Johnston Burke – Ponca City

Burke is a strong armed quarterback with great leadership skills.

Kade McKee – Prague

Kade looks to be one of Prague’s starting defensive ends this year as a freshman and coaches are expecting great things out of him. He loves the weight room and is willing to work and be coached.  

David Thomas – Stillwater

David is a freshman and looks to have a big season as a receiver. He is very athletic, fast, and has good ball skills.

Jaden Rolland – Yale

Rolland should be a tremendous player. He plays quarterback with a lot of flash and flare, and he has great side-to-side moves and can be hard to bring down in the open field.

SOFTBALL

Jolee Dice, Addison Trevizo, and Nora Glass – Blackwell

Dice plays first base and third base and can produce some runs with her bat. Trevizo will see time in the circle this year as well as shortstop, outfield, and third base. Glass is an athletic slapper who can go get balls in the outfield. They should be fun to watch as they compete for playing time and get settled in.  

Skylar Jamison – Bristow

Skylar is going to fill in at shortstop right away. She has all the tools; speed, power, short game, and outstanding gloves and arms. She will bat at the top half of the lineup and be expected to contribute right away. 

Hannah Huffman – Cleveland

Huffman’s work ethic is beyond her years. She is the first one to practice and the last one to leave. She does more than just show up to practice, she comes in on her own and works on what she needs to work on. As a pitcher she has decent speed for her age, and knows how to control the zone. 

Alyssa Roe – Cushing

Alyssa started at third base last year as a freshman. She had a great year offensively and was put on the hot corner and held her own. She is a threat on the right and left side of the plate and has some speed. 

Cambri Casey – Mannford

Casey is a sophomore pitcher for the Pirates. She has put in the work and is ready to hit the field and be a big producer.

Maddy Ives – Pawnee

Maddy is a sophomore pitcher who will be starting in the circle this season. She has grown a lot in the past year and her coach is excited to see what she brings to the team as she continues to lead the team in the circle this season.

Landry Shepherd – Perkins-Tryon

Landry started at shortstop last year and will be there again this year. She brings great experience both in the field and at the plate. She will be at the top of the lineup where she will give a spark with her bat and her heads up baserunning.

Ja’Kiya Colbert – Ponca City

Colbert is an outstanding and hard working athlete that is always ready to do whatever she can to help her team be successful. 

Calle Cox – Stillwater

Calle has been the starting catcher since her freshman year and one of the team’s top hitters. She is expecting to move into that leadership role this fall.
