

VYPE: What grade are you in, and what sports do you play?
Emerie: I am a sophomore at Ponca City High School, where I play volleyball.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Emerie: Coach Monks makes his classes fun and never boring.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Emerie: The person who inspired me is one of my seniors, Macy Strong. She shows a good example and is a very talented person.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Emerie: My favorite meal is shrimp Alfredo.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Emerie: Being able to finish the season with my favorite people.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Emerie: To be patient and to work with other people as a team, and to enjoy the time I have.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Emerie: Trying out for clubs, you get so much experience and new viewpoints from other coaches, which has really helped me, and I recommend it as well.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Emerie: To give Ponca a good representation and to show a good example for others who want to play volleyball.
