Corridor Football Underclassmen to Watch – Presented by OrthoOklahoma

Mack Powell – Bristow

Mack Powell will contribute on both sides of the ball. He is an exceptional athlete with the potential to make a significant impact.

Sam Hall – Chandler

Hall is a two-year starter at tight end and will enter his junior season as a third-year starter. He is a knowledgeable player who has had an outstanding offseason, adding significant strength and size.

Sam Sizemore – Cleveland

Sam is a freshman with the speed to stretch the field, and we expect him to earn playing time on Fridays this season.

Lane Simpson – Cushing

Lane is a standout three-sport athlete who emerged late last season as an explosive varsity playmaker—and he’s only going to improve.

Chase Mitchell – Davenport

Mitchell led the team in touchdowns and total offense as a freshman. Expect him to be a major threat this season, making plays both on the ground and through the air.

Braxdyn Schwart – Depew

He delivered a strong freshman season, throwing for 1,400 yards and rushing for 214, with 11 total touchdowns. He’s expected to be a key contributor this year.

Kayden Harjo – Kellyville

Harjo is likely the team’s most instinctive player. Also a baseball player and wrestler, he leads quietly but effectively.

Luke Naylor – Mannford

This sophomore running back has tremendous upside. He possesses exceptional speed and is already developing the physical build of a much older player. He has the potential to become a future star for Mannford.

River Stonecipher – Olive

River made an immediate impact as a freshman on special teams. With a soccer background, he proved to be a reliable kicker, successfully handling extra points and nailing a 31-yard field goal against Cherokee—with plenty of leg to spare. Now entering his sophomore season, River is adding muscle to his 6’2″ frame. He has solid speed and is working to enhance both his quickness and reach as a wide receiver and in the defensive secondary. In addition, he continues to develop his kicking range and, in my opinion, has the potential to compete at the next level as a kicker.
