PONCA CITY WILDCATS

GIRLS

Coach: Mica Estrada

23-24 Record: 8-19

The Lady Wildcats are looking to build off of last season and make some noise this season. Head coach Mica Estrada says that the team has worked hard in the offseason and is ready to get on the court and prove themselves. “After graduating two last year, we are returning with some experience and ready to take on the new season,” coach Estrada said. “This is a hard working group of girls that will be competitive and represent Ponca City well.” A trio of players that will be leaders this season will be Kaytum Lively (5-6, Sr.), Jasmine Sodowsky (5-7, Jr.), and Jenna Northcutt (5-7, Jr.). All three of these young ladies are outstanding athletes that are continually working to improve their skills and game. They are expected to each have a big season for the Lady Wildcats. Payton Miner (5-8, Sr.) and Natalia Good (5-10, So.) are two other team members that will look to make big contributions on both ends of the court this season. Nevaeh Carlisle (5-7, Jr.) is a great kid and teammate and works hard, both in practice and in game. Bringing the energy to the team, Baylee Stewart (5-5, Jr.) does whatever her team needs her to do. Other players to keep an eye on this season are Laileyanna Allen (5-6, Sr.), Alexa Avila (5-8, Jr.), Lauren King (5-6, Jr.), Dezirae Miner (5-5, So.), Hailey Primeaux (6-0, So.), Addison Garrity (6-0, So.), and Ella Curfman (Fr.).
