Stroud High School
In the first round of the 2024 playoffs against Community Christian, Aiden Collins lined up at receiver and ran a whip route—expecting a short gain. Instead, he turned the corner, broke four tackles, and sprinted 50 yards to the end zone.
It was a defining moment for the then-sophomore and a glimpse of what’s to come.
Now preparing for the 2025–26 season, the rising junior at Stroud High School is ready to take on an even bigger role.
The Class of 2027 athlete splits time at wide receiver and running back, thriving in a wing-T offense that rewards vision and versatility.
After a quiet freshman year, he broke out as a sophomore, finishing just shy of 1,000 rushing yards and scoring 16 touchdowns.
“This year, I want to go over 1,000 yards and score at least 15 touchdowns,” Collins said. “I’ll be getting more touches, and I’m working hard to be ready.”
His routine includes morning and afternoon practices with the team, gym sessions twice a day, and weekly speed training in Tulsa—work that has sharpened his vision and boosted his explosiveness on the field.
“My agility, side-to-side quickness and ability to find the hole are what set me apart,” he said.
Collins is a three-sport athlete—also competing in track and basketball—and is a state champion in long jump.
But football has always been his main passion, a love sparked by his uncle, a former All-State receiver, and supported by his family and coaches.
“My dad is my biggest role model,” he said. “He gives his all in everything, and that pushes me to do the same.”
As the 2025–26 season approaches, Collins isn’t just chasing stats—he’s chasing a state title.
“I want to help us win state,” he said. “That’s the ultimate goal.”
With his work ethic, versatility and growing confidence, Collins is ready to make every touch count this fall—and let his game do the talking.
