The Ripley Lady Warriors have built a tradition of excellence, and as the 2025 fastpitch season approaches, they are poised to continue that legacy. Coming off a 26-17 campaign and their seventh straight fastpitch state tournament appearance, Ripley returns a core group of experienced players ready to take the next step.
Head coach Kaleb Hoffman enters his 10th season at the helm with one of his most veteran squads to date. The Lady Warriors return seven of nine starters from last year’s team that advanced to the state quarterfinals before falling to eventual state champion Caddo. Leading the way are six seniors, all returning starters, five of whom have been playing together since their freshman year. The sixth senior joined the program last season and made an immediate impact.
“Our senior group is really special,” Hoffman said. “They’ve been through the battles and know what it takes to compete at a high level. Their leadership will be a big part of our success.”
But it’s not just about the upperclassmen. A talented group of underclassmen is expected to contribute right away, giving the team depth and energy as they aim for a deep playoff run.
“Some of our younger girls are ready to step up,” Hoffman added. “They’ve worked hard in the offseason and are ready to compete.”
Ripley’s run of success extends beyond fastpitch. Between fastpitch and slow pitch, the Lady Warriors have now qualified for 13 consecutive state tournaments, reaching the finals in four of those appearances. That consistency has helped build a winning culture within the program, one that the players and coaches take pride in upholding.
As the 2025 season kicks off, expectations are high once again in Ripley. With a seasoned senior class, a strong supporting cast, and a proven coaching staff, the Lady Warriors have their sights set on another trip to the state tournament, and this time, making it all the way to the top.
