Q&A with Mannford’s Emily Tingley – Cross Country Spotlight – Presented by Results Physical Therapy

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Tingley: I am a senior at Mannford High School and I run cross country, and I play basketball and soccer. 

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?

Tingley: Getting the Most Improved award in cross country last season.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Tingley: Peyon Carson because she always strived to be the best she could.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?

Tingley: Running cross country has taught me how to be mentally tough.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Tingley: My mom is definitely the biggest inspiration in my life. 

VYPE: What is the best advice that someone has given you?

Tingley: “If you tell yourself you can’t you won’t, if you tell yourself you can you will” Coach Reed

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Tingley: Mrs. Reed. She always pushed me to exce.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities or clubs?

Tingley: I do competitive cheer outside of school.

VYPE: What is your all time favorite meal?

Tingley: Chicken alfredo
