MANNFORD LADY PIRATES
COACH: Nathan Reed
Record: 14-10
OUTLOOK
Consistency and competitiveness have long defined the Mannford Lady Pirates, and head coach Nathan Reed expects nothing less heading into his fifth season leading the program. With a strong core of returners and a promising freshman class, the Lady Pirates are ready to make another push in 2025-26.
“We are going to be very competitive this year, just like we have been year in and year out,” said Reed. “Look for a hard-nosed defensive team and one that won’t stop. We are returning most of our core players from last season, as well as a deep freshman class that we are expecting to contribute. We are very excited to get started with conference play on December 2nd.”
The Lady Pirates will be led by their lone senior, Emma McCrackin (Sr.), who has been a model of dependability and leadership. “Emma will be our lone senior this year,” Reed said. “She has been reliable and done whatever is asked of her throughout her high school career. We are looking to send her off on a good note this season.”
Junior standout Addison Pehrson (Jr.) headlines the team’s returning core. “Addi has only gotten better every year she has stepped on the floor,” Reed said. “She has become a great basketball player but is also an exceptional athlete as she is a main piece for our Pirate track and field team. Addi can do a lot of different things on the basketball floor, from being a three-level scorer offensively to taking the toughest defensive assignment if she is called upon. We are expecting big things in her junior year.”
Fellow juniors Adley Elliott, Lexi Lovekamp, Jayden Caruthers, and Carlee Maxville will provide valuable experience, while sophomores Marin Chapman, Baylei Alexander, Lyla Barbata, and Jalynn Roper add depth and athleticism. “Marin could make a splash this year for us as a sophomore,” Reed said. “She is a transfer that came in at the end of last school year and is buying into our system. Looking for some exciting things from her this season.”
Rounding out the roster are freshmen Ella Maxville, Bella Gilbert, Maddie Wenzel, Ashlyn Elliott, Kaydence Legare, Alyssa McCrackin, and Jenna Jenkins, forming a deep and energetic group ready to compete at a high level.
With toughness, depth, and leadership, Reed believes this team embodies the Mannford standard.
