Under the bright Friday night lights at Yale High School, Tanner Moore built his name the hard way, through repetition, grit, and a quiet confidence that never needed to be loud to be felt. A senior wide receiver and safety, Moore became the kind of player coaches trust and teammates lean on. When the game speeds up, he doesn’t panic; he locks in.
For Moore, the journey didn’t just shape him as an athlete; it shaped who he is beyond the field. The discipline required to balance football, powerlifting, and school carried over into everyday life, teaching him how to show up with purpose.
“Football has taught me a lot about responsibility and respect.”
Those lessons followed him through every early morning workout and every late-night game, helping him grow into someone younger players now look up to. That impact isn’t lost on him. Representing Yale isn’t just about wins, it’s about leaving something behind.
“My favorite part about representing my school is the impact I leave on the younger generations and that they know they can do the same thing we did with this program.”
Moore’s rise wasn’t a solo act. Teammates like Braiden helped sharpen his edge, pushing him year after year. Competition between them turned into something bigger, mutual respect and shared growth.
“I’d say Braiden has, he’s been there with me every year for football and we’ve always pushed each other to be better.”
Off the field, the support system stayed just as strong. From family to friends to coaches, Moore credits the people around him for helping him reach the next level, literally.
“I wanna say thank you to my friends, my family, and my coaches. They’ve all pushed me to be what I am today and have never doubted in my dreams or abilities.”
Now, with college football ahead, Moore carries more than just talent, he carries every lesson, every push, and every belief that got him there.
“My biggest accomplishment I’m proud of is getting to go play college ball next year.”
