Julian Jacobs – Stillwater High School Football

Stillwater High School senior Julian Jacobs is passionate about playing football for the Stillwater High School Pioneers. Julian plays the position of right tackle for football. Many would consider Julian a football veteran, having played the sport for 9-10 years.
Julian is exceptionally proud to represent his school and community as a student athlete. Julian proclaimed, “I think it is a very special opportunity to put on a uniform, and getting to represent the city and the people.”
Faith plays an integral part of Julian’s life. Julian attested, “Jesus is what motivates me.”
In regards to his biggest role model, Julian stated, “My parents have always been a big role model to me; they do everything with a purpose, and they never fail to show up.”
As far as where his talent in sports originates from, Julian attributed, “My athleticism comes from back when I used to play basketball.”
In terms of what it has taken Julian to become successful in football, Julian accounted, “It has taken hard work, discipline, and dedication.”
Teachers impact their students, and most student athletes have a teacher that stands out. Julian stated, “Ms. Janloo stands out the most; she is always in a positive mood, and is a bright person overall.”
Many memories are made during a student athlete’s career. Julian reflected on that occasion, “My Sophomore year of high school was that highlight moment for me. I was young, and getting thrown in the fire has really changed the game for me on and off the field.”
Most student athletes have a favorite collegiate or professional athlete that they admire. Julian stated, “My favorite professional athlete is the American boxer Gervonta Davis, because he is always in attack mode, and is seeking greatness.”
When it comes to following people on social media, Julian enjoys following a musician the most. Julian stated, “I enjoy following the rapper Drake, because is my favorite musical artist.”
After graduating from Stillwater High School, Julian plans on pursuing higher education. Julian stated, “After graduating from high school, I plan on attending college and obtaining my Bachelor’s in Engineering.”
