VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Jackson: I am a senior at Stillwater High School, and I am on the golf team.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Jackson: It has taught me that improving in something takes discipline and consistency, and I try to implement that in my whole life, not just golf.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Jackson: Micheal Robertson has had the biggest impression on me because we share a similar work ethic, and we always push each other to be better golfers and people.
VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?
Jackson: I look up to OKC Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous Alexander because he works hard, but he is humble about his success, and he still has lot of confidence in interviews.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Jackson: My grandma inspires me because she is so generous and kind even when she isn’t feeling her best and she took care of me during the summers when I was a kid.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Jackson: Ms McLeod is my favorite teacher. She was my eleventh and twelfth grade English teacher. She is my favorite because she takes the time to get to know her students, and she says good morning to me every day.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Jackson: Chicken Alfredo with breadsticks is my favorite meal.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Jackson: I would pick Colorado because Oklahoma is so hot, so it would be a nice break from the heat, and the mountains are beautiful.
VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
Jackson: I would like to shout out my dad for being a great dad and coach, and he has always helped me with my swing and mindset.
