VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Mason: I am a sophomore at Stillwater High School and I play soccer.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Mason: Soccer has taught me that hard work and dedication pays off.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Mason: My favorite accomplishment I have ever made was making it on my soccer varsity team as a sophomore. There are very good players on it so I’m super proud of that.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Mason: The teammate that has left the biggest influence on me is Gram Condley. He is probably one of the best players I have ever seen and he still somehow can always help me out or give me tips.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Mason: My favorite part of representing my high school is the bus trips to other high schools. It’s always amazing to get off of our bus and we’re all in Stillwater clothes walking onto the soccer pitch.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Mason: The best advice anybody has given me would be my mom’s advice. She always tells me to not let people get under my skin and to just have fun and it not only makes me a better person but also a better athlete.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Mason: My grandfather inspires me the most. He has always taught me how to be a strong man and I admire so much for being so brave and telling all his stories.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Mason: My favorite teacher from ant grade was my second grade teacher Mrs Warren, she would always make me run to a fence and back when I was not listening and I would always act like it was hard but secretly I loved it.
VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
Mason: I would love to shout out to my grandmother. She has always believed in me, supported me, and encouraged me and I couldn’t ask for somebody better.
