Q&A with Perry’s Tajon Williams – Presented by Seth Wadley Ford

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Tajon: I am a senior at Perry High School. I play football, basketball, and baseball.

VYPE: What is your favorite accomplishment?

Tajon: I am most proud of making the state championship with my team in 2024.

VYPE: Is there a past or present teammate that made an impact on you?

Tajon: That would be Bronson Bouher. He is a leader on this baseball team and wants us to be successful and I really respect that. We also have always batted near each other in the lineup and he has always had faith in me.

VYPE: What is your favorite part of playing sports for your school?

Tajon: I get to inspire the younger generation below me. There are many kids that love sports in my town and I love to help keep that athletic fire lit by just playing my sport as they watch me enjoy the sport.

VYPE: Who is someone that inspires you?

Tajon: My brother Dezmond Williams inspires me because he has made it to the place where I want to be and that is starting on a college football team. I am going to the same place as him on a football scholarship and I hope to share the field with him in a year of two.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Tajon: My favorite teacher is my twelfth-grade Leadership teacher Ms. Schieffer. She has pushed me to be myself in everything that I do and helped me learn to not care about what others think of me.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities or clubs?

Tajon: I am involved in my school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, National Honor Society, Gifted and Talented, and Leadership.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Tajon: My all time favorite meal is a good medium rare steak with some mashed or a baked potato.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shout-out or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Tajon: I want to give a shoutout and thank you to my family and friends who have always been by my side through thick and thin. Even when I felt like quitting you all would not let me and I am so glad you did.
