Perry’s Bronson Bouher – Presented by First Bank & Trust Company

Becoming a solid athlete is something that takes a lot of time and work. Success is not something that is just handed out, it has to be earned. Bronson Bouher knows what it takes and he strives to reach his full potential.

“It takes hard work, dedication and believing in yourself to be successful in sports,” he said. “I want to be the best I can possibly be and that motivates me to do the work.”

Boucher is a senior at Perry High School, where he plays both football and baseball. He is also a member of the National Honor Society.
There have been a few people that have had an impact on Bronson and helped him get to where he is.

“My dad is my biggest role model because he’s driven for success and is the hardest worker I know,” he said. “In the classroom, Mrs Austin, my first grade teacher, was instrumental in building my foundation for my education.”

His teammates have also been there and helped him grow into a better athlete. Whether it is in practice or a game, they are always there for each other.

“I enjoy working with Whelan Carson in practice because he challenges me to be better,” Bronson said. “Jace Lena is the least appreciated and always has a positive outlook.”

When Bouher and his teammates take the field to compete, they are ready to play whoever is on the other side.

“I want to beat every team we play,” he said. “I enjoy beating Oklahoma Christian School in both baseball and football. I think the highlight of my career would have to be playing in the state finals.”

Being able to compete takes work and practice, but it also requires good grades in the classroom in order to be eligible to compete. Bronson knows that you have to be able to juggle both.

“It takes good time management to balance school and activities,” he said.
