Pawnee’s Kielee Alley – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Ortho Oklahoma

Sports can be an important part of a high schoolers life. They get to compete in the sport that they enjoy while also growing relationships with their teammates. Kielee Alley is a member of a few teams at Pawnee High School and she loves every aspect of playing.

“Doing the sports I love helps with my mental and physical health,” she said. “It is such a beautiful thing to experience having a team and becoming family with that team. I keep myself motivated thinking about my team and how I could help. The thrill of excitement and having competition also keeps me motivated to keep doing these sports that I love. I have goals for myself that I would like to accomplish and the pure love I have for the sports I do keeps me motivated.”

Alley is a freshman at Pawnee, where she is a member of the wrestling, track, and cheer teams. Outside of sports, she is also involved in the Beta Club, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, and drama.

Throughout her life, there have been those that have influenced Kielee’s life and helped her become who she is.

“Some of my biggest role models are my family,” Alley said proudly. “My family has succeeded in all the sports they do and I would love to follow in their footsteps. They work so hard for everything they do and they fight with everything they have while doing their part. Also some of my good friends can be my role models as well. One of my friends works so hard just to be the best, she is the most determined person I know and she will always have a special place in my heart.”

The goal of being successful is what drives Kielee to be her best and she knows that is not something that just happens by itself.

“There have been long, hard practices this year,” she said. “There was also extra training put in just to be more successful. I have to be at every single practice and even more to be successful. I cannot be lazy, I have to be healthy and responsible.”
