Pawnee’s Finlee Dvorak – Presented by All Around Cowgirl Boutique

Pawnee High School’s Finlee Dvorak is a member of the varsity softball team and the FFA chapter at school. Dvorak also cheers and participates in powerlifting. To say Dvorak is a busy student-athlete is an
understatement. Dvorak joined FFA when it was first offered during middle school. “I first got involved with the FFA my eighth grade year, but I’ve been around agriculture and farming my whole life. My whole family has been in FFA and most of them went all the way to get their American degree, so I wanted to see why they loved it so much,” said Dvorak.

With so many opportunities offered in FFA, Dvorak said she narrowed it down to a few, but she knew she wanted to be more involved with the program as an officer. “What I enjoy most about being in FFA is the amount of opportunities you have to do whatever fits you better. From Speech’s to Ag Mechanics, there is always something to fit what you like to do. Along with being an officer, I’m involved in our ag mechanics group, livestock judging, I recently started extemporaneous, and will start in our animal science program this school year,” said Dvorak.

Despite not showing animals in FFA, Dvorak said she lives on a farm with plenty of livestock and it’s something she has wanted to try. “Having cattle and living on a farm I would love to show, but with me not only being involved in FFA I try to balance out my time with my other hobbies,” said Dvorak. As a member of the fastpitch softball team, Dvorak said she is looking forward to every game on the schedule
and competing with her teammates.

“I’m excited about every game. There isn’t a team I’m most excited to play, I’m just ready to work hard and do the best of my ability every time I’m on the field,” said Dvorak. Her advice to any student who
has an interest in FFA? “You can be in FFA. It doesn’t matter if you live in the country or not, it doesn’t
matter if you have an agricultural background or not. Whatever it is, it doesn’t matter,” said Dvorak.
