2024-2025 Morrison Wildcats Basketball Preview – Presented by Central Rural Electric Cooperative

MORRISON WILDCATS

BOYS

Coach: Jared Griffin

23-24 Record: 16-12

The Wildcats enter the new season ready to build off of last season. While they have some shoes to fill, head coach Jared Griffins thinks that his squad should not miss a beat. “It is going to be a new look for the Wildcats this season with a lot of new faces,” Griffin said. “Losing our two dominant scorers from last year will give the rest of the team a lot more opportunities scoring the basketball. We will have a very young but talented team that will play hard and play good team basketball.” One of the guys that the

team will look to is Brendon Swoboda (5-8, Jr.). He is a junior guard that has a motor that never stops. He will be there to compete on both ends of the court. Seth Dunivan (6-2, So.) is a sophomore but has the potential and work ethic to be great. He made a lot of improvements last season as a freshman and expects more this season. Jaheim Johnson (5-10, Jr.) loves basketball and always shows up to practice with a great mindset and work ethic that makes the team better. Other Wildcats that will look to make plays on the court are Lucas Bowling (6-4, Sr.), Preston Bates (6-1, So.), Maddox Schubert (5-7, So.), Kent Rossander (5-7, So.), Kai Warriner (5-10, So.), KJ Burk (5-7, So.), Kort Stuever (5-8, So.), Carter Galloway (6-1, Fr.), Camden Cervantes (6-0, Jr.), Colton Maurer (5-7, Fr.), Shad Dennis (5-7, Fr.), Patrick McGuay (5-9, Fr.), and Cam Racy (5-9, So.).
