VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Barrick: I am a junior at Tonkawa High School. I play football and baseball.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?

Barrick: Baseball has taught me discipline, leadership and teamwork.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Barrick: Being able to represent Tonkawa with my teammates behind a great community.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Barrick: Ryan Morgan. He is a good friend on and off the field.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Barrick: My dad because he is very supportive with a positive attitude and a good work ethic.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Barrick: Mrs. Wecker is always a kind and positive person.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Barrick: Yadier Molina. He is selfless and hard working.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Barrick: You should hate losing more than you love winning.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Barrick: Chicken fried steak.
