One of the biggest aspects of taking your talets to the next level is belief from you to yourself, as well as from the people around you. Adriel Miller, a junior from Ponca City High School says his biggest motivation is belief in making it big. “My biggest motivation would have to be my family and I knowing I have the chance to make it big” he says. Adriel has many role models and influences that helped him become the player and person he is now, but the biggest role model in Adriel’s life is his dad. “My biggest influence and role model is my dad” he stated. “He always

pushes me me to be the best me and makes sure I stay in line.” Adriel Miller plays free safety in football and small forward in basketball at Ponca City. Playing two sports means a lot of moments to remember on the field or on the court, but Adriel says his favorite moment of his career came from off the field. “The highlight moment of my career was getting to watch my brother, who I played with, go to college to do something he loves doing” he stated. Adriel has a passion for his sports, and loves representing his school and community. “What it means to represent my school and community while I play is setting a good example for the school” he said. “Ponca has been at the bottom of the barrel in sports, but I feel like the past few years more and more people are seeing what we are doing and how we are changing things around Ponca and how we are progressively getting better and better.”
