Chesni Lowery – Perkins-Tryon
Chesni was our lone senior this season and led our team both on and off the field. With a group made of of mainly freshmen and sophomores, she made sure they understood why we played the game and led by example every single day. She ended the season with hitting 3 homeruns in our Regionals, 1 of them being a walkoff to send us to the regional final. This was just a snapshot into how important she was and is to our program. She finished the season with a .395 average, 3 HRs, 22 RBIs, 35 walks to 10 Ks, OBA .541, SLUG .618. She played 1st base and controlled the game from over there with a .961 Fielding Percentage.

Caitlin Cooper – Ponca City
Caitlin Cooper was a leader on and off of the field for our team this year, helping lead our team in her Senior season to a 25-9 record and 2nd place finish in our district with an 11-3 season. “Coop” played an amazing center field for us and hit in the 3 or 4 hole all year. She is playing softball next year at NOC Tonkawa. Caitlin Cooper is a coach’s dream, she works hard, is extremely coachable and a great teammate. She works hard in the classroom as well, currently she is taking several college courses in addition to finishing up courses for high school graduation, I believe she is a great candidate for any award including this one.
Stats: This year she had a .420 batting average, .482 on base percentage, 42 hits including 16 doubles, 1 triple and 6 home runs. She lead the team with 38 RBI’s, scored 29 runs and was 18 for 18 on stolen base attempts.

Rielly Walker – Cleveland
This young lady is mature beyond her years. She is a big part of this team and a huge leader. It doesn’t matter if we are losing by 10 or winning by 15 she plays her game and keeps her teammates hype.
–
Keagan Walker – Hominy
I believe that Keagan Walker deserves this award because she has been starting since her freshman year and putting up crazy numbers, both pitching and hitting. Keagan is a leader off and on the field and makes big plays when we need them. So many of the youth softball players we have in Hominy look up to her and want to be like her. Achieving in the classroom with good grades and taking college courses as a junior. Very coachable and does what is asked of her.
For the 2024 season, Keagan played in 33 games with 250 strikeouts, an ERA of .935, three perfect games and two no-hitters. She had our highest batting average of .530, OBP was .5538, SLG was .939. She had 61 hits with five homers and 72 RBIs. She only struck out fives times out of the 115 at-bats.
