Last season was a tough one for the Ponca City Wildcats, ending the season with just four wins. But with a new season comes a clean slate and head coach Jacob Birnbaum’s squad is looking for improvement on the court this season. A leader on this year’s squad will be AJ Landes. He is a solid athlete and an outstanding basketball player. He is also a great student in the classroom and a good kid overall. What Landes lacks in explosiveness, he makes up for with basketball IQ and discipline. He will make a big impact on the season for the Wildcats. Another player that will look to make some big contributions this season is Adriel Miller. He is a hard worker that is always ready to help his team in any way that he can. Zadyn Stoll always gives his complete effort when he is on the court. He is also a really good teammate. Jordan Cracker is an athlete that has a really solid work ethic that also brings speed and quickness to the team. A member of the team to keep an eye on this season is Tavionne Akers. He is a good athlete but a very skilled shooter and he will look to be a key player for the team this season.
