Colton Mourer – Morrison
Colton Mourer enters his sophomore year as the team’s starting quarterback, having gained valuable experience after being called upon as a freshman. Despite the challenge, he rose to the occasion and managed the role with poise. This offseason, he has dedicated himself to improving his game, putting in significant work and focus. If he can carry that progress onto the field, he has the potential to be an exciting player to watch this season.
Aiden Marquez – Pawnee
A promising sophomore outside linebacker, he will be looking to make a noticeable impact this season. With continued development and increased playing time, he has the tools to become a key contributor on the defensive side of the ball.

Deangelo Johnson – Perkins-Tyron
Deangelo is poised for a breakout season this year. He had an impressive junior varsity campaign as a freshman and showed tremendous growth during basketball season. This spring, he’s continued to make strides, and as he enters his sophomore year, he is expected to compete at a high level and be a key contributor.
Jaxon Miner – Perry
Heading into his freshman year, he has a great chance to earn significant playing time on both sides of the ball — in the offensive and defensive backfields. With his skill set and work ethic, he could make an immediate impact early in the season.
David Thomas – Stillwater
David is a Class of 2028 wide receiver with offers from Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Purdue, and Georgia State University. He’s the kind of playmaker who’s a threat to score every time he touches the ball. As a freshman starting on varsity, he found the end zone seven times, showcasing his explosiveness and big-play ability early in his high school career.
Austin Alford – Yale
A great kid with tons of potential — plays with a high motor and a very aggressive mindset. His intensity and drive set him apart and give him a strong foundation for continued growth.
SOFTBALL
Grace Tonga, Michelle Kolone & Saisalui Kolone – Stillwater
All three are legitimate Division I prospects and exceptional athletes. Their talent, versatility, and competitive drive make them key impact players for this team. Expect them to play a major role this season — they’re must-watch performers every time they take the field.
CROSS COUNTRY
Kerrigan Pickering – Morrison
Although she is just an incoming freshman, Kerrigan has already demonstrated that she will be a key contributor to our program from day one. Last season, she consistently finished among the top runners at every meet we attended. Her performances were not only impressive but remarkably consistent, displaying a level of maturity and race awareness far beyond her age. Kerrigan is a dedicated athlete—she trains with purpose, listens intently, and shows a genuine eagerness to improve. This combination sets her apart even before officially beginning her high school career. What truly distinguishes Kerrigan is her quiet confidence and relentless drive. She welcomes challenges and is already focused on how she can continue to grow and elevate her performance. Her impact on the team will be immediate, and there’s no doubt that her future in cross country is exceptionally bright.
