Q&A with Chandler’s Coniah Ritchie – Football Spotlight – Presented by AFR Thompson’s Insurance Agency

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Coniah: I am a junior at Chandler High School where I play football and I am in powerlifting.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?

Coniah: Discipline, determination, and being coachable.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Coniah: That would be Ty Garver because he’s a team leader and is there to motivate others.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?

Coniah: Ray Lewis because he gave it 100% every-time he was on the field.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Coniah: That would be Mrs. Perry. She is always there to help.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Coniah: My dad because he is a hard worker and is always there for me when I need him.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Coniah: It brings students together in a positive way, whether they are playing or supporting the team.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?

Coniah: Be comfortable being uncomfortable.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Coniah: Cheeseburgers 

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Coniah: Colorado, because I want to go skiing with my family and friends.
