Stillwater Underclassmen to Watch – Presented by Hideaway Pizza

Football

Nathan Goodman – Pawnee

He is a natural at finding the football at linebacker. Goodman is also a big hitter and tackler.

Braydyn Turpin – Perkins-Tryon

Braydyn is one of the strongest athletes on the team. He is expected to have a breakout season on the offensive line.

Asher Robinson – Perry

He is a good kid that contributed a lot as a freshman last season. He had 29 carries for 126 yards and a touchdown. He also registered three receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. On the defensive side, he ended with 10 tackles. He looks to have a bigger impact on both sides of the ball this season.

David Thomas – Stillwater

David will be a freshman and looks to have a big season as a receiver. He is very athletic, fast, and has good ball skills.

Jaden Rolland – Yale
Rolland should be a tremendous player. He plays quarterback with a lot of flash and flare, and he has great side-to-side moves and can be hard to bring down in the open field.

Softball

Maddy Ives – Pawnee

Maddy is a young sophomore pitcher who will be starting in the circle this season. She has grown a lot in the past year and her coach is excited to see what she brings to the team as she continues to lead the team in the circle this season.

Landry Shepherd – Perkins-Tryon

Landry started at shortstop last year and will be there again this year. She brings great experience both in the field and at the plate. She will be at the top of the lineup where she will give a spark with her bat and her heads up baserunning.

Calle Cox – Stillwater

Calle has been the starting catcher since her freshman year and one of the team’s top hitters. She is expecting to move into that leadership role this fall.
